Ferta-Lawn is dedicated in providing the right service at the right time. Our knowledgeable technicians can determine if spraying is necessary for individual problems and will set up a correct care schedule for each problem. Listed below are the programs and services that we offer.
| Yearly Lawn Care Program | | | Consists of
6 applications per year, timed at 6 weeks apart. We guarantee a weed-free, lush green lawn. |
| Customizable Lawn Care Program | | | You may choose any applications and their timing. We guarantee the results of each application. |
| 1) Early Spring Application | | | Mid-March.
Includes fertilizer, broadleaf weed-killer, and a weed-preventer (for crabgrass, spurge, and other summer annual weeds). |
| 2) Late Spring Application | | | Consists of fertilizer to maintain color and broadleaf weed-killer to zap any remaining weeds. |
| 3) Summer Application | | | July and August. A slow-release fertilizer is used to maintain color without potential burning with high temperatures. Weeds are individually spot-sprayed. Insecticide may be applied if large populations of insects are found. |
| 4) Late Summer Application | | | Consists of fertilizer to maintain color and broadleaf weed-killer to get any weeds that may have sprouted during summer. |
| 5) Fall Application | | | Fertilizer
to help repair any damage from summer heat stress and broadleaf weed-killer
to finish off the weeds. |
| 6) Winterizer |
| A fertilizer to help promote root growth and increase turf strength in preventing winter diseases. |
| Aeration | | | Spring or fall. Small plugs are removed to allow air, water, and nutrients enter the root zone. Also helps in reducing the thatch layer. |
| Liquid Aeration |
| A liquid application that contains
organic compounds, soil conditioners, and beneficial bacteria that naturally
'soften' the soil. No messy plugs or broken sprinklers. Helps
prevent drought stress and repairs damage from insects and diseases. |
| Disease Control | | | Depending on the disease, different controls are used. Our technicians most often recommend adjusting cultural practices, however if fungicides are necessary, they will create a spray schedule according to the disease. Common diseases found in our area are Necrotic Ringspot, Leafspot, and Fairy Ring. Price according to control |
| Grub/Billbug Preventer | | | Recommended for lawns with a history of severe insect damage and homeowners with low tolerance of insect damage. |
